This is a signed print of an original oil painting depicting "The Sacred Heart Of Jesus" pouring "Precious Blood" into a chalice. This image represents Jesus offering us his body, blood, soul, and divinty by way of The Holy Eucharist.
The Eucharist nourishes us spiritually and offers us not just a relationship, but true intimacy with our lord Jesus Christ.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat [esthio] the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” (Jn 6:53)
"Jesus knew and loved us each and all during his life, his agony and his Passion, and gave himself up for each one of us: "The Son of God. . . loved me and gave himself for me." He has loved us all with a human heart. For this reason, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pierced by our sins and for our salvation, "is quite rightly considered the chief sign and symbol of that. . . love with which the divine Redeemer continually loves the eternal Father and all human beings" without exception." The Catechism of The Catholic Church #478
My hope for this image is that it will be set apart for holy use.
